Natércia was born in Mozambique and moved to Portugal when she was two weeks old. Before entering Voice of McDonald's II, she appeared throughout Portugal, singing with her band and on television. After seeing her win the VOM II Grand Prize in 2008, producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins offered her the opportunity to record "With a Dream" -- a song he wrote for her. Since then, she performs regularly as the lead singer in several bands, and has worked with producers in the U.S. and Portugal to complete her first CD, which includes 5 songs she has written. During this time, Natércia has also performed at McDonald's events, including the Spanish Convention in Lisbon. She holds a post-graduate degree in Sociology, continues to work in her McDonald's restaurant, and is thrilled to be back in Orlando for Voice of McDonald's III.
